SOS4Life together for Cesena’s architecture students
SOS4Life in Cesena for an urban planning workshop.
On 2 October, students of the Architecture Department of Cesena (University of Bologna) took part in a town planning workshop on urban rehabilitation and regeneration interventions – both those planned and those underway – in the city of Forlì.
The Urban Planning and Public Works Councillor of the Municipality of Forlì, Francesca Gardini and Architect Stefano Bazzocchi, Urban Regeneration Department Manager for the Municipality of Forlì, presented the administration’s various initiatives to the students and lecturers, with particular reference to the de-sealing demonstration project relating to Museum Gardens in Piazza G. da Montefeltro, an integral part of the SOS4Life project.
The meeting was an important opportunity not only to illustrate the objectives, activities and initial results of the project, but also to illustrate to students the strategies for contrasting land take currently being studied by the work group, which is part of the drafting of the new urban planning tool the project partner cities will adopt.
